Believe In Abundance

Hey, You! Here I am again, popping into your life for a moment. I sure am happy to be here. I hope you are too! Let's start off with a reminder of The Seed from a few days ago ...

"A belief in 'not enough' will keep you in lack.

An awareness of abundance, all around you,

will enhance everything."

How often do we worry about there not being enough? Imagine thinking about anything or everything that you think is scarce ... money, food, time, kindness, good information ... the list could go on and on, right? Now notice how you feel when you dwell on what seems to be in short supply. For me, it's a big Yuck. It doesn't feel great and it's a mix of fear, anger, insecurity, hopelessness -- a big Ewwwww. And here's what else happens ... those feelings have a very low vibration that can permeate everything. At the same time, they are powerful enough to keep perpetuating a sense of lack. As long as we hold onto scarcity, we shut down the supply lines. All we keep seeing is a deficit.

Fortunately, there is a way to turn this around. Start noticing abundance everywhere. Whenever you're aware that there's a lot of something, take note. Look at

  • all the geese in a park by the river or on a golf course

  • how many grains of rice are in a serving

  • cars on the highway during rush hour

  • the number of drops of water that come out of your shower

Anytime you see lots of anything, especially if it's something you take for granted, celebrate the profusion. If you find any amount of money on the ground, pick it up and say thank you as if it's a $100 dollar bill. If you get a paycheck, break down the amount into pennies and be grateful. If you're reading a great book with a lot of pages, acknowledge how much pleasure it brings you. If you're invited to a banquet, relish all the smells and flavors and enjoy it fully.

All the feelings of plenty have a high vibration and they open the channels for more and more to come to us. Instead of bemoaning how much money some people have, think about how much money there is in the world and imagine some of it coming your way. If you find yourself waiting in line at the grocery store, think of it as the down time you've been craving. Whenever you feel especially good or healthy, celebrate that and do a happy dance.  The Universe will take note and give you more. Look all around you and seek out whatever there is plenty of and be thankful. This is what I wish for you.
