Better and Better

Hello! Are you ready for another Bloom? Here you go ...

A reminder of this week's Seed:

"Recommending that you strive to feel good,

no matter what, is not about "making do" or "settling" for less than ... It's about calling in more of what you want. Feeling better leads to feeling better which leads to feeling better ... Got it?!?"

Are you aware of what you usually focus on in most situations? Do you look for whatever good there might be, even if it seems hidden and nearly impossible to access? Or, do you go for what's "wrong"? Unfortunately, It's usually easier to find the problem and to go on the defensive. If you turn on the news, it's pretty negative and gives us a skewed view of the world. I'm not saying bad things aren't happening -- sadly there is plenty of that, however there's also positive energy out there, too. If something great happens and you feel a surge of happiness, do you look for more or do you wait for "the other shoe to drop"? Do you feel like there's only so much grace or goodness to go around? That's the result of faulty thinking. There is plenty and the capacity to create more in the same way that we can focus on more gloom and doom.

Can you recall what it feels like to have something wonderful happen? Think back to the last time you accomplished or experienced something that lit you up. Imagine taking that feeling into the next several minutes. Then, carry it into a few hours and maybe even for the rest of the day. Can you see how you might build on feeling better and better? Can you also imagine what an effect that would have on everyone around you? A few might be working out their own issues and want to put down your cheerfulness, but most will want to get on your train and go for the ride. Start spending some time, every day, imagining the life you desire. Start by getting quiet and sitting relaxed and with your eyes closed. Notice exactly how you feel as you create the vision in your mind. Fill it with love and possibility -- some people even see colors surrounding their visions. Before you get up and go on with your day, take a few more minutes to stay still and focus on your breathing. Thank the Universe or Spirit or whatever is comfortable for you to connect with. There are going to be times when you feel down. Life and circumstances are constantly changing and even that can work for us. When we have contrast in our lives we can identify our preferences. Start calling in what you want and look for what feels better ... that's what I wish for you. Are you able to get quiet and be in touch with what you fancy? If not, and you want to feel better about yourself and your life, contact me, the Meditation Maven. We might be able to create magic.
