More Than A Vaccine



Everyone's talking about getting the COVID vaccine. As a vaccinator for Walgreens, I've noticed how people breathe a sigh of relief and their shoulders relax after their shot. In my opinion, that's at least as important if not more so than the ingredients of the actual injection. This is not just about relying on doctors and science to save us. We are not helpless victims. This is just as much about what we can do to build up or maintain our immune system.

It's pretty well known that anyone with compromised immunity has fewer defenses

against the COVID-19 virus. What we tend not to acknowledge is that our inability to be healthy and fight off a virus is caused by metabolic


This IS the best news we could receive because we can do something about both of those "problems". We can create healthy habits that help us lose weight and become more active, fit, and strong. Once we start with just one or two healthier routines than what we're doing now, we can reverse our journey toward illness and become less susceptible to viruses. The body has an amazing capacity to recover if we just give it a chance.


If this feels a bit overwhelming, remember that you don't have to make beneficial changes, but you do get to. What a gift to give yourself and your loved ones.
