Time to Wrap it Up & Review Our Fifteen Days of Creating Calm

March 5, 2020

Let’s take a quick walk down memory lane and browse through all the different topics we covered over the past 15 days. Here’s a quick rundown:

  1. Welcome and Why it’s More Important than Ever to Find Calm

  2. Clutter Causes Overwhelm & Stress

  3. Creating Inner Calm Through Meditation

  4. A Calm & Relaxing Bedroom Promotes Better Sleep

  5. Simple Ways to Stay Calm When Chaos Erupts

  6. Take a Critical Look at the Media You’re Consuming

  7. Is Your Smartphone Stressing You Out?

  8. A Good Morning Routine Can Set the Tone for a Calm Day

  9. Stay Calm at Work by Focusing on One Project at a Time

  10. Embrace Habits & Routines to Feel Calmer

  11. Keep a Notebook on Your Night Table & Other Tips for a Calmer Mind

  12. Use Exercise to Calm Your Mind

  13. When is the Last Time You’ve Played?

  14. Use a Gratitude Journal to Practice Mindfulness

Which one(s) made the biggest impact on you? What tips and ideas have you found the most helpful? Those are the posts that you might want to come back to again and again.

Take a few minutes today to reflect not only on how far you’ve come, but more importantly, how this simple 15-day challenge has influenced you and changed you. What positive experiences have you had as a result of our time together?

I've truly enjoyed sharing with you. I hope you feel that you've gained a lot from the challenge. Thank you so much for joining me. You now have the knowledge and the tools you need to create more calm in your life. There are always going to be stressors in the world. Knowing how to take charge of your self and your environment will go a long way toward helping you to maintain serenity. I have confidence you can handle what lies ahead. I hope you do, too, for that is what I wish for you.

Before you go I have one more thing for you ... have you considered how you'd like to continue on your path of self-awareness? Have you ever thought you'd like to do some more personal development, but it feels hard and you're not sure where to begin? I love a quote by A.A.Milne:

"You are braver than you believe,

stronger than you seem,

and smarter than you think."

Sometimes it's hard to see that and we can get caught up in all our perceived deficiencies.

While I'm all for reading books and working on our selves, there are times in our lives when we all need more support. It's amazing what we can do in a much shorter period of time when someone has our back and helps us stay more sane on our journey. I currently have a couple of openings in my schedule. If you're feeling a little derailed by life, I can help you get back on track with focused phone calls and emails. Send me an email (cummingsbarbara@gmail.com) and we'll schedule a call to see if it's a fit. It would be an honor and pleasure to accompany you on your exciting adventure called life.

Sparkles and Love,
